Gone (and back?) again…

Well, I was off to such a good start, but then I slipped. It’s once again been WAY longer than I’ve meant it to be since my last posting, but I am still here. I just moved this (and most of my) website onto a new server that is giving me a LOT more capabilities and FAR fewer headaches. Over the next week or two I’ll be moving a good majority of the rest of my sites onto this new server (I’ll keep a few on my Windows based server, at least for awhile until I get these all moved and tested) and then I have a few that will HAVE to stay on that server.

Anyway, my friends Jim and Vanessa (and Jim’s mom Diana of course) are all working together to open a new sandwich place here in Prescott Valley called Sourdough Country Deli that I get to take part in helping out where I can. One of those is in building the website to help promote the business. So keep your eyes on that!

I’ve also picked up several other website clients, and done a few larger “on-site” jobs of moving business offices. This has included everything from wiring a new office’s walls for phone and data (we ran over 3000′ of cable into those walls) to moving complete business phone systems. I’m fairly new to that, but the internet provides so much help (and these things just seem to make sense to me after I contemplate them for a bit) so it’s been a great learning experience and just one more service that I can offer to my clients.

That’s about it for the sharing at the moment. There will be more later, I’ve got to get back to moving some more websites (now that I see this one is working well so I know things are transferring over as I had hoped). I’ll chat more later with all of you.
